In the middle of a cloud I call your name
Life has a funny way of recognising when you're having a bad day and choosing that day to throw snowballs at you. Yesterday was such a day. As a compulsive over-analyser I'm not the best at handling criticism and so I started to wonder if the opinions of a so-called friend did have a basis in truth. Thankfully, Wally was there to lend a sympathetic ear and reassure me that although our relationship influences him in many decisions, he still made the decision in question on his own. And he doesn't regret it. And he loves me. And in the end, that's really what matters.
So I've decided that today is going to be a good day. I'm going to be positive and look forward to the next few weeks before we head back to Nottingham for Christmas. Marco is home and so we'll be able to socialise with our true friends again.
